Kits
If you are going to do it yourself, do it properly.
Most organisations that need a stress risk assessment are not going to commission one. They will do it in-house, from a template, and the template is usually the reason the result is thin. These kits are the method an assessment actually follows, sold to the people doing it themselves.
01 — The limitation
What a kit cannot do.
A kit cannot be independent of the people filling it in. This one does not make you independent; it makes you thorough. The duty to assess is yours either way, and a self-run assessment discharges it.
What it cannot produce is a conclusion that survives a reader who suspects you wrote it about yourself. A claim, a tender, an inspection, a board that did not commission the work: those readers discount a self-assessment, and they are right to. That is the commissioned assessment, from £6,500, and the kit's full price comes off it for twelve months.
If that distinction does not matter for your situation, the kit is the cheaper and better answer, and this page would rather say so than sell you the wrong thing.
02 — The two kits

Neither kit reproduces any part of a published standard. Standards are copyright and are sold by the bodies that write them. What a kit contains is this practice's own instruments, referenced to the clauses they address, and buyers are told where to obtain the standard itself.
03 — The three tiers
Same papers, different amount of help.
Every tier contains the complete method. What rises is how much of the assessor's time comes with it. Prices are the same for both kits and include no VAT.

The Reviewed tier is capped at four sessions a month across both kits. That is not scarcity marketing: an hour on your draft findings costs half a day once the pre-reading is done, and there is one practitioner.
